An artisanal panettone with Pellecchiella apricot and Sorrento lemon is a great leavened product of excellence that enhances the aromas and flavours of citrus fruits and fruit from Southern Italy.
It features the classic tall, domed shape , with a golden, fragrant crust that releases intense notes of butter, natural vanilla, and citrus zest. The dough, a warm, bright yellow thanks to the fresh egg yolks, is soft, stringy, and rich in air bubbles , the result of a long, natural leavening process with sourdough starter and a slow, completely artisanal process.
Inside are soft and naturally sweet Pellecchiella apricot cubes from Vesuvius , which blend with the aromatic freshness of candied Sorrento lemon . The contrast between the velvety sweetness of the apricot and the lively, fragrant notes of the lemon creates a balanced, refined flavor that's never cloying.
The aromatic profile is elegant and persistent: high-quality butter, honey, Bourbon vanilla, and citrus fruits intertwine in an extremely light and highly digestible dough, free from preservatives.
The production process follows traditional methods: multi-stage kneading, manual shaping, and upside-down cooling to preserve the soft, developed structure.
